TJ Note: This will be our main wedding block. Modeled after a classic Jersey Shore beach house, this boutique hotel offers both single hotel rooms and suites. We have blocked the majority of hotel for the weekend, but booking early is always a good idea! Please note, there is no elevator, so this may not be the best option for those with mobility concerns.

TJ Note: Our wedding venue is in Bay Head, but all other wedding festivities and hotel blocks are in Spring Lake. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding on Saturday from the Hewitt (~15 minute ride). Feel free to stay in Spring Lake with us or in any of the charming shore towns in the area.

Take NJ Transit from Penn Station to Spring Lake Station (about 1 hour 45 min) or drive (about 1.5 hours)

Fly into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), then drive or take NJ Transit directly to Spring Lake (approx. 1.5 hours)
Local Cab Companies
Uber and Lyft are plentiful at Newark Airport and in the Spring Lake area. However, if you would like to book rides ahead of time, Briggs and Wally’s are both local taxi companies that are available for airport transportation. Both offer regular cars and vans if you are traveling with a larger group.

Where should we stay?
We recommend staying in or around Spring Lake for the weekend. Airbnb and VRBOs in Spring Lake or the surrounding towns of Belmar, Sea Girt, Manasquan, and Point Pleasant are also great options.
What is the dress code for Friday?
Friday night’s dress code will be Cocktail attire. For late fall at the beach we suggest: knee or mid length dresses, elegant separates, or sport coats & pants, no tie required.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be inside the Dale Building, the boathouse at the BHYC. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be outside on the venue’s top deck, but an indoor space is available if needed. Dinner and dancing will be completely indoors.
Are children invited?
While we love your kids, this weekend will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
What is the dress code for Saturday?
Black tie optional. Tuxes and evening gowns are welcome, but dark suits and formal dresses are also perfectly appropriate. Weather can be unpredictable in late October, so we recommend bringing light layers.
Will transportation be provided to the wedding?
Yes. Transportation will be provided on Saturday with buses running to and from the venue from the Hewitt Wellington. Buses will also offer drop off at the after party for those who want to keep the party going.
Will there be food at the welcome drinks?
Drinks will be provided along with light bites. Please plan to eat dinner beforehand. See our recommendations list for more info on some of the many amazing restaurants in the area!
Are rideshares available in the area?
Yes. There are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts available in the area.
